Eleven Randoms

Last Friday I was tagged by
to participate in the {11 Things} meme
floating around the internet.

Here are the rules:

1.   Post these rules.
2.   You must post 11 random things about yourself.
3.   Answer the questions set for you.
4.   Create 11 new questions for the people you tag to answer.
5.   Go to their bogs and tell them you've tagged them.
6.   No stuff in the tagging section about,
"You are tagged if you're reading this."
You legitimately have to tag 11 people!

My 11 Random things:

1. WE'RE MOVING!!!!!!!
The new house is just one block north from where we're at now
so it should be a really easy move!

{haha. ok...not that easy.}

2. To be honest, I don't really
find Ryan Gosling all that attractive.
I'll take my Ryan over him any day.
{but don't offer me Ryan Reynolds or we might have a problem.}
{just jokes love}

3. I would love nothing more
than to be a foster parent someday.

4. I am almost always dancing. Even if just in my head.  When my sciatic troubles kick in, outside of not being able to run and not being able to lift the tots up and down with ease...not being able to dance is the most depressing part of being injured for me.

5. One of my biggest regrets in life
is not taking singing/music more seriously.
If I could have given myself one trait
 that I have now
{for the most part}
that I never had as a child/adolescent it would be confidence.

6. I've had two miscarriages.

7. I am not a fan of animal print apparel.
It works for some people, but it's not for me.

8. I finally accomplished
a 3 minute plank the other day.

9. I'm not a fan of vanilla cake or ice cream.
Vanilla, to me, is  synonymous with bore me.  Bring on the chocolate!

10. Throughout each day
I use no less than 5 different voices.
My kids and the tots are very amused by this.
Ryan---not so much.

11. I can't do a cartwheel.
It's ridiculous.

The 11 Questions Pam Asked Me:

1.   What is the chore you most hate doing?
Dishes.  Cat Litter. Sock Folding. Putting away laundry. Cleaning the floors. Dusting. Sweeping 5x a day. Vacuuming.
Is there a chore I MOST love doing? Not really.

2.   Books:  Do you prefer e-readers
 or bound print?
I've never actually read from an e-reader.  I'm sure I'll eventually get one, but bound print books will never go out of style in my home.

3.   Have you been outside the continental 48 states?  Where?
I went on a family cruise to the Virgin Islands when I was in high school.

4.   If you won an all-expense paid trip
to anywhere in the world for one week,
where would you go?
Gah. Hard.  Either somewhere in Southeast Asia, or Japan or Zimbabwe.

5.   Do you eat breakfast?
Most of the time. Coffee and pb toast on the weekends and I usually have a little of whatever I'm making my kids and the tots in the mornings.  If we're juicing a lot, I'll DRINK my breakfast.

6.   What's something that you are
passionate about?
My Family, Babies, Children,  Relationships, Politics, Literature, Peace, Art, Music, Dance, Running, Healthy Living, Food

7.   Do you use coupons
when you do your grocery shopping?
No. But I SHOULD.

8.   If you were to go to the movies tonight,
what would you see?
I prefer to wait until I can watch a movie in the comfort of my own home.  That way if when I have to pee I can just push pause. It's genius.  If I had to pick one playing at my local theater, though, I'd choose Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close.

9.   Musicals?  Love 'em or hate 'em?
That's a funny question.  I used to loathe musicals, but now I actually really like them.  If I'm in a crap ball mood, though…I will punch people that sing and dance and ... live at the same time.  I suppose it's all about timing. If I'm walking on sunshine, then musicals delight me.
10. Do you have any live plants in your house?
(Please don't answer that if they are illegal.)
Bahaha.  Ryan has actually been experimenting with growing kale and other various greens all winter.  I have a tendency to kill all growing things in my home {except for the kids…settle down} but Ryan is a natural green thumb.

11.  How many times a week do you eat out?
I'd say 2-3.  I try to meal plan for the week but usually at least once a week our evening plans get thrown a curveball so we switch up plans. I'll usually eat out at least once during the weekend, sometimes more just depending on how busy the weekend gets.

Now to pass it along,
here are MY 11 Questions:

1. Who is your favorite comedian?
2. Do you see yourself blogging 5 years from now?
3. What's your favorite form of exercise?
4. What did you get into the most trouble with as a youth?
5. If you found out you were going to die tomorrow, what would be the FIRST thing you did after leaving the doctor's office?
6. What would you name a movie about your life?
7. What was your favorite grade in school?
8. If you could have an intimate dinner with any celebrity, who would you choose and why?
9. If you had to relocate yourself to an entirely different country, where would you choose?
10. Are you with the person you want to spend the rest of your life with?
11. Is there any topic you absolutely refuse to talk about on your blog?

So...TAG...these people are IT:

 1. Julie of Adventure is Out There

2. Megan of Best of Fates

3. Michelle of The Lively Kitchen

4. Briana of ...and so it goes

5. Misty of Block Seven

7. Maryea of Happy Healthy Mama

Loved reading this, most things did not surprise me. I have too wanted to be a foster parent, but don't believe in the system, at least around here. My favorite form of exercise is Volleyball!

If I had to relocate it would be to Greece! And I've always wanted to be a foster parent too!

If I had to relocate, it'd be to Greece, no questions asked! I'd make John be a goat farmer. ;) And ditto on the foster parenting, I've always thought maybe that's why I started having kids so young, so I can give back once they're grown and I'm still up for it! (Of course I'll have to quit having them sometime soon in order for that to happen)

Fun! Thanks for tagging me. I'll work on answering this. :)

I'm right there with you on the sciatic trouble. I think this baby is playing the harp with mine!! Hopefully it resolves after she's born. HOPEFULLY!!

Oi! So much pressure! I will have to think on this. Right now, I need to get my TIO up and then I'll work on doing the tag. So much fun, thank you! (I think?) And congratulations on the move, good things are coming your way :)

YAY! I'm so glad you played along!! :) Those were fun to read.

And now to answer YOUR questions...

1. Daniel Tosh.
2. Who knows! When I started two years ago, I never dreamed I'd be doing it for this long. I usually lose interest in things pretty quickly.
3. Running.
4. The worst trouble I got in as a teenager was sneaking alcohol into and getting drunk at a school function. LOL Such a hellion...
5. Make a list of all of our bank accounts and PIN numbers, bills, life insurance policy numbers, medical info for all our animals... all the stuff that my husband would need to know that he currently is CLUELESS about.
6. Okay, that takes more creativity and imagination than I can muster up right now. haha
7. Hands down, junior year of high school.
8. Well, after seeing that picture of Ryan Reynolds I WOULD do that to Alanis. They're not still together anyway, are they?
9. Italy.
10. Most definitely. :)
11. Nah, I'll pretty much go anywhere. Although I'm not allowed to really talk about work.

fun to learn more about you! congrats on the upcoming move and the 3-minute plank - whoop whoop! and I love that you're almost always dancing. I'm the same way...well, especially if there's good music on.

Thanks for tagging me...sorry I dropped out of the game. ;) I want to be a foster parent too, so badly. Before we tried to get pregnant (and before my I definitely empathize with you there), we tried to foster with the idea of eventually adopting. We moved before the process was done. Once we get our lives in order over here - and if there's still no baby in the making at the end of 2012 - we're hoping to become foster parents.

I'm with you on foster-parenting too. I would like to adopt some day too, maybe even a older child. But, I feel like my kids should be a little older if we are going to bring in a new child that may very well have special needs and require a lot of my attention.

Just got my post up.
