Fine!
Twist my arm.
I'll show you what I ate yesterday!
Good thing you asked because I had already
a new bloggie friend of mine,
that I would be crazy fun and join in on this gem of a link party!
My goal after eating raw for 30 days is to eat what I crave and what I feel like eating.
Obviously, there are some exceptions to this intuitiveness.
For starters...I live in Iowa.
We're having blizzard-like conditions right now so even if my intuition asked for
...it's not happening.
I'm NOT the person you want on the road during winter weather conditions.
I did my grocery shopping on Sunday...
so it's up to me to eat intutively from what I've selected and what's available to me.

So February also finds me on a slightly tighter budget.
Which means I had to say *no* to the salmon that I really wanted.

I still have a bunch of fresh fruit left.
I hate wasting produce.
Freshly juiced juice in the mornings sounds great
...but takes forever.
...but takes forever.
I love mornings.
But there is some stress in getting everyone out the door.
But there is some stress in getting everyone out the door.
Keep in mind....THREE kids.
Get up! x3
Get dressed! x3
Eat your breakfast! x3
Quit poking your sister! x3
Where are your shoes? x3
Where's your backpack? x2
Where's the homework you did last night? x2
Library books? x2
Library books? x2
Field trip signatures? x2
Fundraisers? x2
Show & Tell? x1
Extra green grapes and a larabar for second and third breakfasts
because you eat so dang much
and secretly I'm worried
that you'll starve
if I'm not there. x1
Boots? x3
Coats? x3
Hats? x3
Mittens? x3
Scarves? (crickets...what? nobody wants to wear their scarf?)
Dagnabbit!
I forgot!
Brush your teeth! x3
Let me fix that crazy hair! x2
Ok...back into the winter gear!x3
Are we ready to go yet?
.
.
.
Then it dawns on me that I still need to eat.
Enter the fruit and Larabar.
This portable breakfast is perfect for me.
I don't usually like to eat a whole lot in the mornings.
This combination keeps me full all morning until I get to lunch.
I also drink a cup of herbal tea and about 32 oz. of water in the mornings.
I also drink a cup of herbal tea and about 32 oz. of water in the mornings.
I couldn't help myself.
I just so happened to have all the ingredients.
If you're looking for a delicious soup...this is the way to go.
And yes...that's REAL butter on that bread.
And we made a PBB&J smoothie too.
(peanut butter, banana, strawberries & blueberries)
The best part of dinner was cooking with Isabel.
She was MORE than ready to get back in the kitchen.
My intuition also called for this last night.

| Don't worry...I sipped a little and then Ryan finished my glass. I'm so lame. What do you think of my intuition? |
Show me yours!
Or tell me about it at least!
What was the best thing YOU ate yesterday?
***OH...and so many of you asked some really great questions yesterday.***
My next post will feature my answers to those questions!!!

That egg sandwich looks delicious! The best thing I ate yesterday was my dinner. Chicken with lentils and leeks. The recipe was from "The Family Dinner" and it was soooo good. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.:-)
Umm....best thing I ate-green beans, no joke-how sad!
I give you a lot of credit x3-you go girl!
I spend atleast 5 minutes every morning looking for my keys. Most days I get in my car and have to run back in the house to get something. I can't imagine having to do that for me + 3. The best thing I ate yesterday was pizza. So unhealthy, I know. But, I was craving it!! : )
Petty food! As usual....I didn't post my "what I ate" this week...because it was too boring and unphotogenic!
The best thing I ate, though, was a smoothie...and I wish I had your egg sandwich!
Ugh. We're getting pounded by snow/winter weather here in Boston, too, and the thought of bundling up and driving to the grocery store is NOT appealing. So I'll be getting creative today with what we have!
Yesterday I was at work which is RIGHT next to Whole Foods so my lunch was their salad bar. Love it.
Best thing I ate? a greek spin art hummus wrap! delish! that and my wine/coffee made my day!
Love your wine photo! =) haha! Thanks for partying with me girl! I got the photo mix up fixed for ya =)

ps: thats a LOT of x3... im going to traumatize my future kids. I can see it now!
The best thing I had was my evening smoothie, I have never put a scoop of dry oatmeal into a smoothie before last night and was surprised how delicious and filling it was! I love your x3... I have a hard time doing things x1... I give you so much credit!!!
The best thing I ate yesterday was brown rice pasta with brussels sprouts and clams covered in a homemade tomato sauce... lovely dinner! :)
I think you've just convinced me to try that soup! You're amazing for being able to be productive with 3 kids. I have a hard time just getting myself dressed and fed!
Like your blog.....I found it from keeping up with katie!! Are you sure that's not a margarita with your dinner?? :)
Oh my GOSH...I want to say like 500 things right now...
First, Your comment on my blog just made my day. Why are you so stinking darling? SERIOUSLY!?
2nd - Your son was born on V-day!?!? That is amazing. I am obsessed with valentines day for some reason, so I love this news. Your pic of him on the sidebar of your blog is to die for. Can he be my valentine too!?!?
3rd - Your egg sandwich just made me want to go make that...and I JUST ate lunch. Should I be embarrassed or should you just be proud that your food looks THAT good?
4th - I'm going to come to you for parenting 101 when I get married and have kiddos. That list of to do's makes me scurred... ;) I hope you have the BEST day! xoxoxo
a chocolate crave cupcake and a big glass of wine...oops!! :)
I love your telling of a morning with kids. I only have two, so I can't imagine the craziness a 3rd adds! There are days I'm lucky to eat the scrappings off their plates as we hustle onto our next activity.
I love the long list of all the to-dos in the morning with 3 kids! It's eyeopening. :) I can't stop thinking about a PB&J smoothie - sounds so good!
Thanks for the encouraging comment! I love your description of your morning - sounds a bit familiar :) I also love the shot of the 2 Buck Chuck - aaaagghhh! I miss that stuff (three more months, three more months!)
the best thing I ate yesterday?? I would have to say chicken linguine for dinner, it was so yummy!!
You must be one busy lady! Props to you for being an awesome mama! Your eats look yummy. Especially the soup. I totally want to give that one a go. Hope you're staying safe and warm!
That egg sandwich looks soo good! The best thing I ate yesterday was homemade Turkey Taquitos - sound weird? They were DELICIOUS!
I answered your question on my blog, but I am new to the whole blogging courtesy and didn't know if I should answer it here or there so...
I do step on my WiiFit - I have the extra step to make it taller. So it does all the counting for me! All I have to do is step to the beat, and watch something good on TV! I love feeling productive while I watch a show. The time really flies!
Best thing I ate yesterday: 2 peanut butter oreos - but I ate the sandwich half off of two of them and then put the cream sides together to make a make-shift double stuff. Tasty!
